Menopause – Managed better with Yoga!

Menopause is an integral part of a Woman’s life cycle. Menopause usually occurs between

45 to 55 years of age. It’s the stage where a woman's menstruation cycle eventually ends. As

women are born with a particular number of ova/egg, once they reach menopause ovaries

stop producing eggs.

Menopause usually comes across as a scary word for a woman and for her family members

too. Women usually feel fatigued, depressed, crankiness, raising body heat, headache, joint

and muscle pain, weight gain especially around the hip and lower belly area, change in libido, hair loss & so on.

We as women are definitely going to experience it at one point in life. Empathy for the

women who go through this stage or experiencing it and information for the one who will be experiencing it in the future.

It becomes really difficult managing it when you are not ready for it or you don’t appreciate

your body which has gone through so many changes from being a little girl to a grown


Aging is beautiful only when you accept it and feel grateful for it. It’s been observed that a woman who indulges in “Yoga” find it much easier. I am writing this with my professional experiences, observations, and extensive research of many scientific articles on this topic.
